DEBORAH HARRY - The Rocket (Seattle tabloid, fairly low circulation) Aug 1990 - Original issue - 11 5/16" x 13 23/32" - Front cover full color illustration of Ms Harry with her hands interlaced, staring right at the viewer, with volcanoes, rocket, seagulls, flames, etc. in the background - Great, detailed, illustration of Debbie's face, etc. - Centerspread features a full color photograph of Debbie artistically altered (photo by Cam Garrett) along with several smaller photos variously colored in different postures, hair colors etc. plus a great deal of historical text written by Gillian Gaar in advance of her appearance with The Ramones in Portland (8-15-90) and Vancouver BC (8-17-90) - Suicidal Tendencies, and other band articles, concert ads, etc. - Back cover has a large piece missing (all meaningless ads) - Ultra Rare - 35.00    

 

DEBBIE HARRY - BLONDIE - AUTOAMERICAN - First / Only printing window card stock promotional poster - 24 7/8" x 12 23/32" - Full color horizontal illustration from the LP release in 1980 - Staple hole at each corner, 2" bend at lower right corner (tiny bit of flaking), 1 3/8" bend at upper left corner along with two light bends and a corner ding, tiny scratch at upper left edge of image (difficult to see in the background), 2" bend at bottom center edge of image, and a couple more minor bends (non-color flaking) and corner dings - I will forward several photo closeups of this poster if you might potentially be interested in purchasing it - Will look great in a frame as is! - Rare - Inquire for Availability / Price

MARY TRAVERS (of PETER, PAUL & MARY) - Fri, March 2, 1973 at the Paramount Northwest in Portland, Oregon - First / Only printing concert poster - 24 1/16" x 26 3/4" - Features large full color close-up photo of Mary singing into a microphone with black background and typeset lettering "Mary Travers - In Concert" in white and light blue at the left side - Venue information strip at bottom of large photo area, black printing on white background - Foxing along bottom edge in the venue strip, small red stain at lower right corner of photo, clean 3/8" rip at right edge of photo area, general handling bends from being rolled - Only copy I've seen in the 9+ years I extensively hunted for concert posters and handbills in the Portland area or since! - I will forward multiple photos of this poster if you are potentially interested in purchasing it - Ultra Mega Rare - Beautiful B / B+ to B+ copy - 325.00

 

MARY TRAVERS & ORCH. - BENEFIT FOR WORLD HUNGER - Nov 26th, 1976 (?, tickets were 5.00) at the Spokane Convention Center (Washington) - First / Only printing full size concert ticket - 2 5/16" x 5" - Black typeset printing on green faced card stock with ticket number (1302) and blue backside - Whole, uncut ticket - Has writing on backside that does not affect frontside - Some general aging in the paper and a few small bends - Only ticket for this concert I've seen in the 9+ years I extensively hunted concert posters and handbills in the Portland, Oregon area! - Ultra Mega Rare - 45.00

 

PHOEBE SNOW - Thurs, Nov 24, 1977 at the Civic Auditorium in Portland, Oregon - First / Only printing concert poster - 21 5/8" x 13 13/32" - Small print run due to the expense of the window card stock (brownish, stiff cardboard like material), likely only 250 or so - 15 clean staple holes, all are difficult to see, a few non-flaking bends (not easily seen) in the image area (2", 3", 5") - Ultra Mega Rare - 65.00

RITA COOLIDGE - KRIS KRISTOFFERSON & RITA COOLIDGE - Fri. June 30, 1972 (1978 would be only other possible year, less likely) at Portland Coliseum (Portland Oregon). First / Only printing concert poster - 14 3/32" x 21 3/4" - Features black and white photo each of Kris and Rita (collaged together), large size against white background with black typeset lettering above and below, surrounded by a 3/16" red border - Printed on window card stock (gray cardboard like material), from a printing of about 200 due to the expense of the material - Has a light 3" wrinkle at top edge, artifact of the printing press - I've only seen a few copies of this poster during the past 30 years! - Ultra Mega Rare - Beautiful B+ / A- copy - 500.00

ROSANNE CASH - CBS 39463 - 1985 Original issue Promotional poster - 25 5/16" x 30 29/32" - Features full color photo of Ms Cash wearing white jacket, eye make-up, nail polish, somber look, presumably from the LP cover - a few small, thin, difficult to see stains at lower right edge of photo along with a few minor edge bends and general handling bends - Rare - Beautiful B / B+ to B+ shape! - 75.00  

 

SANDI PATTI - Mon, Mar 24, 1986 at Memorial Coliseum in Portland Oregon - First / Only printing concert ticket - 1 9/16" x 3 1/8" - Whole, Unused ticket features raised black ink (with a few blue sparkles) lettering with light blue background, computer printed seat number - Backside is rubber stamped "complimentary" - Tiny bit of light foxing (hard to see) - Only ticket for this concert I've seen! - Ultra Mega Rare - Beautiful B+ shape - 20.00

WENDY O'WILLIAMS - PLASMATICS - August 8 1980 at Hammersmith Odeon in the UK - Orignal Issue Promotional Concert Poster - 19 15/16" x 30" - Classic and often depicted full color vertical stage photo of the Plasmatics with the pre-mohawk Wendy O wailing into a silver microphone lifting her black & yellow "bee hide" skirt up with the cord between her legs revealing her white pantied crotch & wearing skimpy striped T-shirt with the shaved head / make up wearing guitar player to her immediate right and the thin wrap around dark glasses wearing bass player in the background - Plasmatics logo lettering at top in flourescent green, date, "Only British Show" lettering in flourescent pink against flourescent green background with pink lettering along bottom edge "Wendy says if you want to see me T-R-A-S-H an automobile, don't miss this show..." - This show was actually cancelled and I believe the posters were later distributed to promote the group at record stores, etc. - I am not certain that this poster was produced prior to the concert date - A few light, difficult to see bends from being stored rolled, light 3" wrinkle (visible from backside) in the image area - Uncommon / Rare - Pristine B+ condition - Inquire for Availability / Current Price

 

 

WENDY O'WILLIAMS - PLASMATICS - Original Issue Personality Poster on thin, slick promotional poster stock - 23 7/16" x 33 1/2" - Printed in Holland by "R", circa 1980, #RO 051 - Gargantuan full color photo of Wendy O'Williams wearing brimmed, black motorcycle hat, studded neck collar, black arm / leg bands, bare breasts covered with whipping cream, skimpy bikini bottom type gear about to cut into a large guitar with her chainsaw - Light, small handling bends from being stored rolled (along edges, etc.), upper left corner has a tack tear (small bit of the corner has almost detached) and lower left corner also has a tack tear with a small pie cut shaped bit of paper missing, magic marker on backside only says "Wendy O Chainsaw" - Frameable as is! - Ultra Rare - Beautiful B+ condition - Inquire for Availability / Current Price
