WOODIES ON THE WHARF - April 23, 2001 in Santa Cruz, CA - First Printing Event Invite Postcard - 4" x 6" - Reprinted Rick Griffin artwork features one of his early pen & ink illustrations of a back view of a "Woody" barreling along with surf boards sticking out of the rear window - This item was produced in very limited quantity for small social gathering in Santa Cruz, CA, with permission from Ida Griffin, Rick's widow - The weekend gathering of 157 Woodies was held on Sat. June 23rd, 2001 - I'm not entirely certain whether or not the small tiki illustration was created by Rick Griffin - Minor ding at lower left corner of image side is in the white margin and thus unobtrusive to the image - Ultra Mega Rare - Pristine A-/B+ shape - 25.00
