JOHN LEE HOOKER - February 27, 1970 at Reed College Commons near Portland, Oregon - First Printing Concert Poster (printed previous to the concert date, unlike the cheap reprint of this item which appears on ebay from time to time) - 10 15/16" x 17" - Black offset printing by Corberry Press in Portland, on goldenrod colored card stock (index) - Features photo of John Lee Hooker's head, w/thin moustache - Design/Artwork by the late, great Cathy Weinstein (aka Hedda Goldspace), from whom I purchased both copies of the poster and the original artwork in early 2003 - Artwork features ornate rub-off lettering and other rub off type artwork - I've only seen two copies of this original poster in the 9+ years I searched extensively for concert posters and handbills in the Portland area! - Each poster has an extremely light, difficult to see, diagonal corner bend at the lower left or lower right corner, Ultra Mega Rare - Pristine A-/B+ condition - Inquire for Availability & Current Price

JOHN LEE HOOKER - February 27, 1970 at Reed College Commons near Portland, Oregon - Original Artwork for Concert Poster - 12 1/4" x 18 7/32" - This is only the original artwork for the above described John Lee Hooker concert poster created by C.E. Weinstein (Cathy Weinstein, aka Hedda Goldspace), since the photo used in the print run is not present (probably only stripped in, then returned or given away at the time of the printing) - Features an original pencil signature (printed) by Ms. Weinstein along the lower right edge - All of the artwork / design / lettering on this item originated from pre-printed rub-off type commercial material, though was assembled and precisely arranged by Ms. Weinstein - One of a Kind! - Pristine A- condition - Inquire for Availability & Current Price

JOHN LEE HOOKER - Sun, March 18, 1984 (1979 is an alternate, though slim, possibility) at Starry Night (in Portland, Oregon) - First Printing Concert Poster - 16 7/8" x 10 31/32" - Features photo of John Lee with white hat and smile, typeset lettering above and below - Blue printing on white index stock - Four rough staple holes (paper is either gone or punched through on several of the holes, at least 2 are missing a bit of paper) - I've only seen three copies in the 9+ years I extensively searched for concert poster and handbills in the Portland area! - Ultra Mega Rare - Nice B/B- to B- shape (easily restored or frameable as is) - Inquire for Availability & Current Price
